Overview:Sky Diamond Elite is a digital marketing and ecommerce agency obsessed with real-world results. We’re looking for a contract AI Engineer to design and deploy agentic AI systems that unlock automation, reduce overhead, and directly impact revenue.

This role is deeply technical and results-focused. We’re looking for someone who has moved beyond experimentation and is ready to build agentic AI solutions that drive revenue, reduce operational overhead, and scale business impact.

This is a remote, part-time, 1099 role—ideal for someone who thrives in an autonomous environment and has experience putting LLM-powered agents into production. If you've moved beyond experiments and are building systems that work, you're who we're looking for.

What You’ll Build:

Conduct technical discovery and identify AI integration points across departments (paid media, creative, CRM, ecommerce).

Design and implement custom workflows using tools like N8N, Make, or Zapier, and prototype custom automations in Python.

Design and test agentic AI workflows using tools such as OpenAI, LangGraph, Claude, Gemini, Deepseek, or similar LLMs.

Build lightweight tools, dashboards, or internal apps that automate reporting, creative iteration, or client workflows. Architect and deploy multi-agent systems that interact with API’s, databases, and third-party platforms.

Drive strategy sessions with stakeholders to define the AI adoption roadmap and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Continuously evaluate emerging AI and automation tools to keep Sky Diamond Elite on the cutting edge.

Key Qualifications:

3+ years experience in AI strategy, machine learning, or automation consulting (bonus if within an agency or ecommerce environment).

Proficient in Python and comfortable working with APIs, JSON, and automation logic. Strong understanding of prompt engineering, tool use chaining, and memory/context management in agent systems.

Hands-on experience with LLMs including OpenAI / ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Deepseek (function calling, embeddings, summarization, etc.).

Familiarity with automation platforms like N8N, Make (Integromat), Zapier, and integrating them into business processes; familiar with vector databases (e.g. Pinecone, Weaviate) and knowledge management structures for agent memory.

Working knowledge of Shopify, Meta Ads, Google Ads, or other marketing platforms and how to enhance them with AI.

Proven success building and shipping AI agents in real-world applications. Excellent communicator with the ability to translate complex AI concepts into clear business recommendations.
