We're looking for JavaScript developers to test the newest version of our **TestDriver** VS Code extension (v5).
TestDriver is a revolutionary AI agent that simulates real user interaction to automate software testing. It’s the next step beyond tools like Playwright and Cypress—offering a smarter, more intuitive approach to quality assurance.
This job involves getting hands-on with the product, recording your experience, and sharing candid feedback to help us improve.

### **What You’ll Do:**
- Install our **TestDriver** VS Code extension
- Follow the **Getting Started Guide** and complete the **three built-in walkthroughs**
- Record your **screen** as you go through the process
- **Optional but preferred:** Narrate your thoughts aloud in the video
- Keep a running **friction log** (text file or doc) of:
- Errors
- Confusing instructions or UI
- Anything that slows you down or causes friction
- Submit both the **screen recording** and **friction log**
- Participate in **follow-up Q&A** (we may ask clarifying questions after your initial feedback)

### **Requirements:**
- Regular **VS Code user**
- Experience with either **Playwright** or **Cypress**
- Solid knowledge of **JavaScript** and **Node.js**
- Comfortable recording your screen and optionally narrating your thoughts
- Can communicate clearly in **English**
- Preferably based in the **U.S.** or another English-speaking country

### **Compensation & Scope:**
- **Hourly engagement**, paid upon completion and submission of:
- Screen recording
- Friction log
- Estimate: **3 hours upfront**, plus **1 hour of follow-up**
- Multiple developers (at least 5) will be hired for this round
