We are seeking a highly skilled RPA Developer to design and implement automations that streamline repetitive administrative tasks in the medical revenue cycle.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with healthcare systems and a strong understanding of how to build automations that interact with web-based interfaces, including EHR platforms like ModMed EMA and various payer portals (e.g., UHC, Availity, Aetna, etc.).
This role will involve close collaboration with operations and billing teams to map out current manual workflows and develop scalable solutions that save time, reduce errors, and improve overall efficiency.
We would like to start with the easiest use-cases and then hopefully continue to tackle larger and larger problems, eventually potentially creating some sort of friendly UI dashboard for key employees to check in and manage the ongoing automations.
Key areas of focus include:
Eligibility verification
Prior authorization submissions and status follow-ups
Fax/document management and routing
Claim status checks and portal-based workflows
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Proven experience developing RPA solutions in the healthcare space
Expertise in UI automation, including DOM interaction, selectors, and exception handling
Proficiency with tools like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, or equivalent
AI agent development and API connection to automation
Experience working with EHRs (especially ModMed Emma) and payer platforms is a major plus
Understanding of healthcare compliance like HIPAA
Ability to document, test, and deploy reliable automations that require minimal maintenance
