Overview:
Exponential AUM, a boutique hedge fund marketing agency, seeks a high-caliber advisor and educator to guide our authority-elevation marketing for alternative fund clients. This is a strategic, hands-on role requiring 4–8 hours per week to advise and teach our team (primarily the founder) on content marketing strategy and tactics. We’re looking for elite talent to shape our approach to thought leadership, leveraging AI and podcasts, with the potential to grow into a CMO role as our client base expands.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise: Provide expert guidance on authority-elevation marketing strategies to position hedge fund managers as thought leaders, targeting institutional and high-net-worth investors.
Teach: Educate the founder and team on executing content marketing plans, including AI-driven thought leadership, podcast production, and multi-platform distribution.
Strategize: Develop high-level content strategies, including:
Using AI tools to author thought-leadership content (e.g., whitepapers, articles).
Optimizing podcast strategies for long-form content and organic lead generation.
Repurposing content for LinkedIn, YouTube, Substack/Medium, and potential PR campaigns.
Ensure strategies align with hedge fund marketing goals and comply with SEC regulations.
Mentor the team on emerging trends, particularly AI and agentic systems, to enhance marketing efficiency.
Requirements:
Elite Expertise: 7+ years in marketing, with a focus on authority elevation, thought leadership, or content strategy, ideally in financial services, private equity, or alternative investments.
Teaching Ability: Proven experience mentoring teams or executives, with clear communication to translate complex strategies into actionable steps.
Language Skills: Native or near-native English fluency (written and spoken) for professional content review and coaching.
Location Preference: Based in Eastern Europe (e.g., Poland, Ukraine, Romania, etc.) to align with our hiring goals, though exceptional candidates elsewhere may be considered.
Strategic Vision: Ability to deliver high-impact strategies within limited hours, leveraging AI for scalability and multi-platform reach.
Highly Preferred:
AI Expertise: Deep familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Gemini 2.5, Grok 3, ChatGPT (soon to be 5?), Jasper, Claude) and agentic systems for content creation or marketing automation.
Financial Knowledge: Some understanding of financial markets, especially hedge funds or alternative investments, to contextualize strategies (not mandatory but a significant plus).
Podcast Experience: Track record with podcast marketing or "Pillar Content" repurposing for professional audiences.
Nice-to-Haves:
Portfolio showcasing thought-leadership campaigns, investor-facing content, or mentorship outcomes.
Familiarity with CRM platforms like GoHighLevel for tracking content performance.
Connections in finance media or PR to amplify client visibility.
