Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules available. Days and hours may vary. Open availability is preferred. More details upon interview.
Requirement: 1+ years barista experience preferred,
Pay Range: $22.50 per hour to $27.00
Job Summary
Summary: Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handles food according to HACCP guidelines and standards for quality food-service operations. Interacts with customers and other employees in a friendly, courteous manner.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, coffees, teas, and specialty beverages, according to standardized recipes.
- Proper operating and maintenance of the espresso machines and other coffee equipment.
- Ensuring consistent beverage quality and presentation.
- Providing recommendations and answering customer questions about menu items.
- Baristas play a crucial role in providing a positive customer experience. You must greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operating the POS system to process orders and payments.
- Handling cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining the cleanliness of the service area.
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and temperatures of the drinks; follows HACCP standards.
- Ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards. Serves food neatly and attractively per standard.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
