Why This Role Rocks You’ll work side-by-side with a serial entrepreneur who’s blending cutting-edge AI with real-world hospitality. One day you’re brainstorming ChatGPT prompts that write killer ad copy; the next you’re capturing behind-the-scenes footage of chefs firing up our Cajun gumbo. You’ll get a crash course in:
- Running a multi-concept food hall (Tempe Eats)
- Deploying and building with AI tools for marketing, automation, and streamlined operations
- Event production from inquiry to “last guest out”
- Hands-on problem-solving across several growing ventures
Our TEAM Culture
- Teamwork – win together, fail forward together.
- Energy / Enthusiasm – bring the spark; the rest is teachable.
- Agility / AI – move fast, iterate faster, leverage tech.
- Mastery → Mentorship – learn it, nail it, share it.
What You’ll Do Your primary goal will be to leverage AI wherever possible to enhance efficiency and impact across these areas:
AI, Systems & Content
- Actively identify opportunities and leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Zapier, etc.) to design, build, and implement automated workflows, efficient processes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and training checklists that improve scalability and consistency.
- Draft engaging social posts, emails, and ad copy with AI assistance (ChatGPT, Gemini, NotebookLM, etc.), refining for brand voice.
- Generate & edit compelling photos, short-form video, and simple graphics for marketing and internal use (Canva, Midjourney, CapCut, IdeoGram, inVideo.ai, etc.).
- Fine-tune or build simple no-code “agents” or tools to shave minutes—or hours—off specific daily tasks (Manus.im or other).
Events & Ops
- Assist with on-site event needs including walk-throughs, vendor calls, set-ups/tear-downs, and on-site guest support.
- Capture photo/video during events for post-event reels and marketing assets.
- Track leads and commissions in CRM, follow up on inquiries, and assist in closing event deals.
Boots-on-the-Ground Support
- Jump into the kitchen or event space for quick prep shots or plating b-roll.
- Scan/organize documents, run occasional local errands, and help document key processes to keep the office/kitchen content-ready.
- Continually ask: “How can AI or a better process streamline this task?”
Must-Haves
- Proven interest in AI (show us a prompt, workflow, or project you’ve built or significantly experimented with).
- Strong writing skills + a good eye for photo/video composition.
- Reliable transportation to/from Tempe Eats and occasional off-site shoots/errands.
- Some evening/weekend availability required for scheduled events.
- Comfort lifting up to 30 lbs and being on your feet during event set-ups.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and 18+ years old.
Nice-to-Haves
- Basic HTML, Zapier, or other no-code automation experience.
- Event, hospitality, or restaurant background.
- Adobe Creative Suite or Final Cut chops.
- Familiarity with social ad platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google).
What Success Looks Like After 90 Days
- You’ve implemented at least 10 significant AI workflow or documented process/checklist that demonstrably saves the team time or improves consistency.
- You can run point on content capture for a 100-guest event without significant hand-holding.
- You’re accurately tracking our event leads and commissions in our CRM and have contributed to closing 5 leads.
- Teresa says, “I don’t know how we did this before you got here.”
